Ramblewood is ideally located minutes from historic Havre de Grace, Maryland, and is convenient to Baltimore, Washington D.C., and Philadelphia.
Olympic-sized Swimming Pool, Diving Pool, Volleyball, Beach Volleyball, Softball, Soccer, indoor and outdoor Basketball, and a variety of other sports facilities exist for whatever your group may enjoy. In addition, accommodations can often be made to handle group needs that are not already present on the campgrounds.
Meals are prepared according to the needs of the group being served, and we can accommodate any dietary preferences or requirements. Our chefs have restaraunt backgrounds and can prepare special meals plans, accomodating vegetarian, vegan and macrobiotic diets. For those with more traditional campground tastes, we also have plenty of hot dogs, hamburgers, salads and beans!
Meals are served in our comfortable dining hall overlooking the pools. Meals are prepared and served according to the needs of your group. You can provide your own menu or have one designed for you.
The entrance to our 200 scenic acres of private property is located a half mile from the nearest road, providing a safe haven in which to get away from it all.
Depending on the size and the needs of your group, you can reserve the entire facility for private use, or share the facilities with other groups that will not interfere with your activities.
Ramblewood features a number of newly renovated cabins that can comfortably accommodate five hundred people. Cabins are completely self-contained buildings with sinks, showers, toilets and brand new mattresses and box springs. Cabins are cleaned before the arrival of each group.
There is ample space for those who want to take advantage of the beautiful natural environment and "rough it" outdoors, setting up your own tent almost anywhere on the grounds. You get to "get away from it all" while still having the convenience of restrooms and showers available close by.
There are numerous facilities for holding meetings on site. Some of the available locations include:
Dining Hall, White House, Barn Theatre, Meeting Room (with big screen TV), Amphitheater, Big Top (with Dance Floor, Stage and four Workshop Rooms) and a multi-purpose open-air Dance Pavillion featuring 4000 square feet of sprung flooring.
In addition to traditional business and mainstream religious groups, Ramblewood has been catering to the needs of "alternative" groups for over a decade, and is experienced in and capable of providing an environment for unencumbered self-expression.
